After everything is over, Catra gets to step into the Bright Moon castle for the first time in her life-- not as an enemy, but as an ally. Someone who belongs.

It's all, of course, completely ridiculous. The sky-high ceilings, the crystals adorning the walls, the intricate patterns on the plush carpets and silk curtains... Catra is kind of awed. People actually live like this? Adora's been living like this?

The introductory tour, as led by her fellow members of the Best Friend Squad (a title she still cannot believe she shares), takes them all across the shimmering halls, from the dining room, to the kitchen, through the library and five bathrooms. Once evening's fallen and their legs are sore from walking, they each scatter to their respective quarters, and Adora makes use of this chance to show Catra her bedroom.

And yes, it's exactly as over-the-top as everything else here.

"Hoooooly cow," Catra says with a rolling, incredulous laugh, head tilting back to drink in the sight as she wanders about the room. It's so huge, and there's so much stuff, way more than the accommodation you get even as a Force Captain.

"You've got one of those-- uh, guh, ceiling candle lamps!" She gestures broadly upwards, then turns around-- "And a waterfall? In your room? Do you shower in it?"
